Payment application is the endpoint application that processes payment and related services, and often handles most of the security of the payment, as well as the user interfaces with the consumer, and sometimes with the merchant too. This application runs at the Point of Interaction (POI). A typical POI is a payment device.
Parameter management allows the updating of the parameters of the applications. It removes the constraint and cost of physically sending technicians to field applications and fulfill merchant requirements.
It also helps in reducing the risk linked to transaction management, remotely controls the settings of the payment phase and reinforces controls on the payment phase to limit abuses. It allows each merchant to be managed individually, delivering the right set of parameters to the terminal to fully match the requirements.
Estate owners can remotely control the Android settings of their payment terminals. The solution relies on 2 modules.
